The Inaugural Periodontal & Bone Regeneration Symposium

The purpose of our symposium is to present the historical background, fundamental basis, rationale, and current status of both
hard and soft tissue grafting in periodontics. The presentations will begin with a historical overview and then transition into the most relevant techniques and options available today. The lectures will be scientifically based and presented by educators and clinicians with a long history in periodontal and oral reconstruction. The goal is to utilize these concepts in a clinical setting. This unique learning event will feature evidence and updates on many current topics in regeneration.
Discussions will include but not be limited to treatment planning, surgical options, their risks and benefits, types of grafts and their
rationale, mesh its benefits and risks, and peri-implantitis repair.
The event is a two-day symposium at the Four-Star resort Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, CA, Dec 2-4, 2022.
Our presenters for Friday and Saturday will include Drs. Bobby Birdi, Jeffrey Ganeles, Robert Horowitz, Thomas Kepic, Robert
Levine, Richard Miron, Rodrigo Neiva, Andrea Ravidà, Harjit Sehgal, and Homa Zadeh. There will be hands-on courses Saturday
afternoon and Sunday for those who are interested.
All lectures will be 60-90 minutes and there will be a “lively” panel discussion at the end of each morning and afternoon session.
This symposium will also have a Hygienist Appreciation Day on Saturday. It is specifically tailored for the hygienist however we
have found over previous meetings that both specialists and restorative dentists find the lectures very stimulating. Speakers include restorative dentist Dr. William Paveletz and hygienists Tricia Osuna, Katrina Sanders, and Susan Wingrove.
