2021 WSP Western Region Dental Hygiene Symposium
REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
Welcome to the 69th Annual Meeting of the Western Society of Periodontology (WSP) and Western Region Dental Hygiene Symposium (WRDHS) September 10-12, 2021. Join us for an in-person event and together we can move forward with a true interdisciplinary vision for our practices.
WSP is an interdisciplinary organization with periodontists, restorative dentists, hygienists, and auxiliary team members for genuine collaboration.
Our restorative colleagues will find many restorative lectures and hands-on workshops to update them on such topics as implant restorations, digital impressions, restorative materials, digital workflow, and minimally invasive restorations. A focus on collaboration with periodontal colleagues to save teeth but also being prepared to predictably replace teeth when needed will be highlighted. Additionally, the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry will be running their Annual Session concurrently and all attendees can choose which lectures to attend.
Our periodontal colleagues will find current evidence-based information about new innovations and techniques in periodontal & implant therapy that can be applied to their practices. Lectures and hands-on workshops will showcase such topics as implant esthetics, digital workflow, peri-implantitis, bacterial culturing, PRF, and soft tissue management.
The WRDHS together with the Nevada Dental Hygiene Association is excited to bring a unique educational opportu-nity for dental hygienists and auxiliary with distinguished speakers. Tricia Osuna on new products, Susan Wingrove on implant maintenance, dentistry deafening with Dr. Sam Shamardi, local anesthesia with Kathy Bassett, periodontal disease with Amber Auger and a distinguished panel for a discussion on periodontal and peri-implant disease. Kandra Sellers for your administrative team on tips for medical billing. Hands-on opportunities that we have missed will be available in a safe environment. Exciting Student/ New RDH boot camp. Hygiene and Dental students join us and get your questions answered by a panel of experts lead by Claire Jeong.
The WSP and WRDHS are excited to bring it all together in an exciting Las Vegas atmosphere with dental hygienists, auxiliary colleagues, restorative dentists, periodontists, and other dental specialties!
We look forward to sharing this unique collaborative event at the Bellagio Hotel in sunny Las Vegas Nevada on September 10-12!
