Claire Jeong, MS, RDH

Tricia Osuna, RDH, BSDH, FAADH
Tricia is a University of Southern California graduate, Past President and Fellow of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene and Past President of the California Dental Hygienists’ Association. She celebrates 42 years as a dental hygienist and shares her experience with her audiences. Her lengthy background in clinical practice along with education has offered her the opportunity to share real-life clinical experiences in her courses for over 25 years. Tricia presents on topics such as new products, infection control, ergonomics, oral cancer, organ donation and recipient patient care, vaping and more! She has been extremely involved in leadership in her profession for her entire career as an enthusiastic lifelong CDHA and ADHA member and a dedicated advocate for advancing the profession. She was appointed to the Dental Board of California in 2002 for a four-year term. Tricia is the 2015 recipient of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association Alfred C. Fones Award for her dedication to leadership. Kathy Bassett, BSDH, RDH, MED, QOM
Kathy shares unique insights for successful local anesthesia, to benefit both patients and clinicians, gleaned over 40+ years of experience as an expanded functions dental hygienist in general and specialty dental environments, and 30+ years as professor of dental hygiene at Pierce College, and affiliate professor at University of Washington, School of De ntistry. She is a co-author of the textbook Local Anesthesia for Dental Professionals, has extensive experience with computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery (CCLAD) devices & techniques, and has presented hundreds of CE courses locally, nationally, and internationally.
Laurence S. Ambrose, DDS, MS
Dr. Ambrose is a board certified periodontist and has been a full-time staff member at the VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona since 1998. He is also Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He received his certificate in Periodontics from the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and his Master of Science degree through Marquette University. From 1991 to 1995 he was a Commissioned Officer with the United States Public Health Service and practiced general dentistry on numerous Indian Reservations in northern New Mexico. He is currently an officer with the Western Society of Periodontology and is Past President of the Arizona Society of Periodontists.
Heather M. Rogers, RDH, BSDH
Heather began her career in dental hygiene in 1999 when she graduated from the College of Southern Nevada. She has worked in prosthodontics, periodontics, and general dentistry. Heather discovered her love for presenting educational courses while achieving her bachelor’s degree and being involved with her professional association. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2010 and is currently providing continuing education for professionals in communications, diabetes, implant maintenance, probiotics, infection control and marijuana.
Janet Press, RDH
Janet Press, RDH, Fellow of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, has 22 years clinical experience in soft tissue lasers. Ms. Press holds Standard Proficiency in both Diode and Nd: YAG lasers. Previously, Janet spent 10 years as co-director of the Dynamic Team and Laser Certification Programs at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Studies (LVI). Janet speaks internationally on the successful practice model for Lasers in Dental Hygiene.
